All of Europe tried to gather for the coronation of Charles X in Reims in 1825, or so Rossini would have us believe in his spectacular “Il Viaggio A Reims” (pictured above in its modern re-premire)

Were we to invite all the Rossini organizations in the world to a gathering in our day, there would not be quite as many countries represented. But those listed below are every bit as committed to Rossini as the guests at the l’albergo del giglio d’oro were to attending the coronation.
